Caroline Nwadu

During this Black History Month, we asked members of #TeamEEAST to share a message.

Today we have Caroline Nwadu, Head of Culture and Inclusivity, sharing her commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.

Hello, my name is Caroline Nwadu. I have been a HR professional for the last 25 years. As a HR consultant, I have worked in most sectors within the NHS. My journey in the NHS started at Two Shires Ambulance service and then I went on to work with the former PCTs, Acute Trusts, Community Health Trusts, Mental Health Trusts, our Commissioners and I have now come full circle, back to the Ambulance service.

I have the honour of being the first Head of Culture and Inclusivity for EEAST. I decided to move into the EDI world, because, as a black woman, I have an immense passion for promoting Inclusivity. As the Head of Culture and Inclusivity, I have the privilege of being able to make a positive impact within EEAST, by fostering a sense of belonging for all staff. My values and beliefs align with the goals and responsibilities of this role. I have the opportunity to drive positive change and influence EEAST’s culture. I am committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
