Date: 21 July 2023

TrainEEAST

It’s the final day of Commercial Week and it’s time to focus on TrainEEAST.

Formerly known as the commercial training department, TrainEEAST continue to deliver emergency pre-hospital care training to NHS units, military/blue light partners and businesses like Centerparcs, Bourne Leisure and airports. Over the years TrainEEAST have also delivered life-saving training to schools, hospitals, police firearms units and even some fish and chips shops!

Over 5,000 people are trained by the team every year, putting competent rescuers into organisations across our patch. Last year TrainEEAST appointed a new manager, Jess Butwright, who brought new training skills and ideas to the team. The team have started actively targeting bigger pieces of business through contract tendering and winning new contracts, meaning the team is now being expanded.

All of the units in the commercial services area are now working together to support each other and find new synergies and attracting business.

If you know any businesses who need our training, please get them to email commercial.training@eastamb.nhs.uk.
