Within the east of England, we have numerous support services that tailor towards mental health and wellbeing.

Young people from our people participation teams have used and suggest these specific services listed below.

Parent carer forums are groups of parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

SPCF’s (Suffolk Parent Carer Forum’s) aim is to ensure that every parent carer in Suffolk’s voice, views and experiences matter and that they contribute towards developing and improving services.

Parent and Carers Together (PACT)

PACT (Parents and Carers Together) began in 2013 when two local parents realised they shared concern for children/young people experiencing mental health issues in Suffolk.

Their primary function is to encourage people to talk openly and honestly about mental health and provide support as required.
