Safeguarding

We want to ensure that we meet all statutory obligations in protecting and safeguarding vulnerable people who we come into contact with. People have a right not to be abused, or to be placed in a position where they are suffering through neglect.

Health and social care agencies must report any incident where there are grounds to suggest that a vulnerable child, young person or adult is at risk of suffering abuse or where there are concerns about a person’s circumstances. This is in accordance with Department of Health guidance, together with other relevant policy and practice guidance. You can view our declaration of compliance at the bottom of this page.
