Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Our Basic Life Support + Automated External Defibrillator training course offers the full Basic Life Support training as well as teaching the safe operation of a defibrillator. This course takes 4.5 hours. We offer a half-day annual refresher course to keep you up to date.

Police Firearms Medic (D13)

Our Police Firearms Medic training course is designed to meet the requirements of the D13 regulations. We work hard to transfer the benefits of inter-agency from the classroom into the field, through close working partnerships with police services. This course takes 4 days. We offer a 2-day refresher course which is strongly advised.

Our Moving and Handling of Patients and Loads training course covers all aspects of manual handling including risk assessment, spine car, appropriate techniques, and the law. Depending on the topics covered, this course can take 4 hours, 1-day, or 2-days.

Our Falls Assessment, Treatment & Prevention training course is for carers and healthcare professionals who look after patients that are prone to, or at risk of falling. This course can be tailored to meet requirements, so please contact us to discuss your needs. This course takes 1 day.

Fire Safety

Our Fire Safety training course includes a risk assessment, an introduction to the Theory of Fire, prevention techniques, what to do in the case of a fire, and identifying a means of escape. The training course also identifies the different types of fire-fighting equipment. The course takes 4 hours.

Driver First Assist (DFA)

Our Driver First Assist training course is for professional lorry, bus, and coach drivers. Running in conjunction with the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services, it teaches drivers how to assist emergency services at the scene of a road traffic collision. This training course counts towards 7 hours of a driver’s certificate of professional competence (CPC).

Emergency Awareness

Our 2-hour Emergency Awareness training course is designed for KS3 school students to teach them about how the Ambulance Service works, how to use the Ambulance Service appropriately and basic First Aid skills such as CPR and the recovery position. Since the project began in 2012, we have taught more than 3,500 students.
